How it works
Fill in the short enquiry form, or message us on WhatsApp if you'd rather. A photo or a rough description is plenty to start with, and either way you get the 15% discount.
Usually within a few hours, Bali time. We'll ask a couple of follow up questions if we need to.
Based on your actual piece, in Australian dollars, with the 15% enquiry discount already taken off the listed price, before you commit to anything.
A 20% deposit locks in your artist and your slot. The rest is paid on the day.

Every razor and needle is brand new and opened in front of you. We only use American or Japanese needles and ink, and the studio is set up to Australian hygiene standards rather than whatever the street next door is doing.
Jhony has been tattooing for 9 years and placed second at both Jakarta Tattoo Fest and Bali Tattoo Expo. Yoga handles realism, Japanese, fine line and colour. You're not rolling the dice on whoever is free.
Every price is published on this site in Australian dollars. Enquire through the form or message us and we take 15% off those listed prices when we work out your quote. No pressure in the chair, no surprise at the end, no haggling games.

Three ways to get tattooed
Most people sit with us in Kuta. If you'd rather stay by your villa pool, or you want to be asleep for the whole thing, we can do that too.
Our shop on Jl. Poppies II, a minute from the beach and next door to Grand Barong Resort. Walk in for a chat or book ahead so your artist is free when you are.
Find the studio
We bring the full sterile setup to you right across the south of Bali, and further afield on request. Popular with groups who'd rather spend the day together than sit in a waiting room.
How villa service works
Large pieces done under sedation in a hospital set up for it, with the full emergency team on site. Pre-op check the day before, then you wake up with the work done.

Full sleeves, full legs and back pieces are what we love doing most. Your artist is booked for the whole job, it's finished before you fly home, and the price is published before you even ask.

Common questions
It is when the studio treats hygiene properly. Every razor and needle here is brand new and opened in front of you, we use American or Japanese needles and ink, and the shop is run to Australian hygiene standards. If a studio won't open sterile equipment in front of you, walk out.
It depends on your pain tolerance, the size of the piece and where it sits on your body. Ribs and feet are sharper than forearms. Tell your artist if you're nervous and we'll pace the session, and numbing options are available if you want them.
Not straight away, which matters a lot on a Bali trip. Keep fresh work out of pools and the ocean until it has healed over. Plan your tattoo for later in the trip if swimming is the main event, and we'll talk timing through with you when you book.
Fresh ink and tropical sun are a bad mix. Keep it covered and out of direct sun while it heals, and try not to arrive sunburnt, because burnt skin can't be tattooed. If you're planning big beach days, get tattooed towards the end of your trip.
Walk ins are welcome and we'll fit you in where we can, at the full published price. Enquiring first is the better move: it takes 15% off that price, it guarantees your preferred artist is free on the day you want, and it matters most in peak season and for bigger pieces that need several hours.
Not before. Alcohol thins your blood, so you bleed more, the ink doesn't settle as well and the session gets harder. Come in sober and well fed. Once you're done, go easy for the first day or two and keep drinking plenty of water, which helps it heal in the heat.

We usually reply within a few hours, Bali time. That's the same time as Perth, 2 to 3 hours behind the east coast of Australia, and 4 to 5 hours behind New Zealand.
